A press tour organized by the Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection was held at TMZ

On January 23, a press tour organized by the Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant (TMZ), with the participation of representatives of legislative and socio-political institutions and the media.The guests had the opportunity to personally become acquainted with the plant's production processes and to assess how environmental protection requirements are observed at TMZ: nature-protection measures are implemented, environmental-control systems operate, and current standards are met.TMZ became a venue for the press tour thanks to its modern technologies and strict compliance with environmental norms, which makes the plant a vivid example of responsible and safe production. The participants highly rated the enterprise's environmental policy and emphasized its focus on sustainable development and care for the environment.After the tour, a meeting of the Oliy Majlis Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection was held at TMZ, where the results of 2025 were summed up and priority areas of work in the field of ecology for 2026 were discussed.
